Chuckwalla Valley Raceway "Gets" EXOskeletal Protection
(Lake Forest, CA February 22, 2010) Chuckwalla Valley Raceway "Gets" EXOskeletal Protection - Although Scorpion has made a name for itself with cutting-edge innovations, edgy advertising and in-your-face designs, providing protection is what the company is really all about. In keeping with this fundamental philosophy, Scorpion Sports was more than happy to support the all-new Chuckwalla Valley Raceway (CVR) as it kicks off a series of track days in 2010.
"CVR was created to provide a safe, centrally located facility for motorsport enthusiasts to come and enjoy their passion," explains Paulete Dorland, Chuckwalla's director of operations. Located in Desert Center (near Palm Springs) CVR offers a first class facility for the Southern California roadracing fan. "An ultimate build-out, CVR will have three racetracks, hot pits, a clubhouse with a swimming pool and long term garages, among other amenities," Dorland adds. "We are proud to support Chuckwalla Valley Raceway," adds Scorpion Sports West Coast sales manager Jon Eide. "It makes the perfect place for Scorpions new Hurricane one-piece suit to blow into the SoCal area! Seriously, Scorpion Sports is committed to safety and we believe in riders taking it to the track to test the limits... and when they exceed their limitations we believe in our EXOskeletal protection built into all our riding gear and helmets."

Scorpion's Spring 2010 Catalog Is Here
(Lake Forest, CA April 27, 2010) Scorpion's Spring 2010 catalog has enough to blow away any sportbike fan... and that is just the new Hurricane one-piece roadracing suit. With plenty of all-new ExoWear apparel items and half dozen new helmets in the line-up, the new 124-page compendium is packed with plenty of eye-catching new offerings. Of course there is a little eye candy thrown into the mix as well. Photographed by the legendary Joe Bonnello and art directed by in-house graphics guru Scott Wilkinson, the catalog literally features something for every type of rider.
XDL Freestyle Stunters and other streetfighters get the Urban Destroyer and Skull Bucket jackets and matching lids, both all-new for 2010. Not to be left out, the dirtbike guys get a host of hot new VX-24 AirFit® helmets while the gals get new Fiore jackets, gloves and color-matched helmets, as well as Diamond and Jewel jackets among other additions to the women's wear collection. Even the Xtreme Distance Riders get exclusive new offerings in the XDR line-up... and don't worry the old-timers haven't been left out either as the EXO-750 AirFit® Vintage helmets offer a contemporary classic for the retro riders.
In order to keep up with the flood of new products and even more impressive design innovations, Scorpion started with a total revamp of the website. Not only is the complete Spring 2010 e-catalog available online, but new wallpapers, images, videos, hot links to Scorpion's Twitter, YouTube and Facebook sites and a whole host of new elements have been incorporated. XDL Stunters Covered In EXOwear
(Lake Forest, CA January 6, 2010) Now entering its fifth year of competition, the XDL Stunting Championship is expanding its national series to six rounds, kicking off during Bike Week in Daytona and concluding with MotoGP weekend in Indianapolis. "Every stop on the tour is now part of a bigger happening, in a key market or both," notes XDL founder Randy Grube. "I'm excited, our athletes are excited and I think 2010 will be a great year."
Further adding to the excitement is the fact that entire series will be covered on the Versus TV in 2010. The network views coverage of the XDL stunt series as a key to reaching the core 20-year-old sportbike demographic, "and is helps that XDL has developed into the fastest-growing action sport in America," adds Grube. It also makes sense for Scorpion to get its claws into this key market niche.
In fact, the helmet and apparel outfit will be well represented in the XDL ranks as a number of the nation's top stunters rely on EXOskeletal protection from Scorpion. Top contender Teach McNeil on the factory BMW heads the list of XDL competitors wearing Scorpion helmets (learn more about Teach's XDL exploits at www.teachtrix.com), but there are a host of others covered in Scorpion EXOwear™, including Josh Borne wearing helmets, pants, gloves and jackets (www.joshborne.com). Aaron Twite will be competing in both helmets and jackets (www.aarontwite.com), Eric "E-Brake" Pettit will not only be wearing helmets and jackets, but also doing tandem shows with his girlfriend Chelsea similarly decked out in Scorpion gear (www.e-brakestunts.com). Last, but certainly not least, "Sick Rick" Rick Hart will be wearing Scorpion lids for the 2010 XDL season (www.xdlshow.com).
"Keep your eyes out for these guys," says Scorpion's marketing/media relations maven Suzie Kirby. "They will place well and represent the brand in 2010!"
